How did the universe come into existence? How did we come into existence? How did it all start? These are a few questions we do not have definite answers to but we have theories that are probable answers to these questions. The single most important theory that starts answering all these questions is the Big Bang Theory, not the American sitcom with Sheldon but the actual theory.
In simple terms, the universe started with a big bang that's the universe started with a sort of explosion and then grew larger at an unimaginable speed. Some scientists suggest that the universe is still growing at the same unimaginable rate while some suggest that now the universe is expanding at a rate that can be calculated. The Big Bang Theory hasn't been proven yet, it is theorized solely based on mathematical calculations.
Other theories answer these questions as well but they aren't accepted by many scientists.
Recently Dr. Roger Penrose had stated that The Big Bang might be the start of our universe and also the end of another.
